The Beginning

Warrington Wedding DJ has been presented by DJ Rob Lees for 10 years. Rob Lees has been a professional Mobile DJ since 1998 when he first went out helping his father Ian. He went out every Friday & Saturday night without fail, and was taught by the best in the business at that time. In 2000 Rob knew that he had enough experience to go out by himself and invested a lot of money into 'Rob Lees Disco'. His initial setup cost him around £600, but since then his equipment has become a lot more advanced with technology, and now Rob offers a lot more than your everyday Mobile Disco. He only uses the top equipment available, and steers well clear of the Kam / soundlab / skytec equipment on the market. His current equipment totals to over £30,000.

Rob Lees was also named BBC GMR's DJ for the millennium, and had a show on BBC Radio Manchester. He is currently a DJ on a local Warrington radio station, and can be heard live every Wednesday from 8pm-10pm along with Mike Mason.

Rob Lees is also a Commercial Airline Pilot and flies the Airbus A320 when not performing at Weddings!

The Future

Rob's priority is having the best equipment on the market. The majority of the equipment used can be seen in top nightclubs & venues across the world. The smoke machine's he uses are identical to those of 'Cream & Amnesia' in Ibiza! All of the equipment that we use is regularly maintained by qualified & authorised professionals and well looked after. His lightshow is simply breathtaking no matter which package you decide to choose, and on the larger shows, it is all controlled from DMX controllers, along with a number of laptop computers running at a chosen specification. The audio system that we use is from industry standard manufacturers like Mackie, Martin Audio, RCF & Bose. Rob offers a large variety of packages to suit all events. All of the microphones used are run with feedback destroyers, so the vocals sound crystal clear.

Rob caters for every event imaginable! These include Weddings, 18th Birthday Parties, 21st Birthday Parties, 30th Birthday Parties, Engagements, School Disco's, Prom Nights, Corporate Events & Children's Birthday Parties. All of our clients should be very confident that all equipment is PAT tested, and that Rob is CRB checked. Rob also has Public Liability Insurance.

Rob can provide every type & style of music out there. He has a very indepth knowledge of Northern Soul, Tamla Motown & Jazz Funk, and he has many residencies where he plays just this! He also has an extensive music collection from the 50's, 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's & 00's.

The Experience

Rob has established a very well respected reputation, and is by far one of the most professional and best Mobile DJ's in the North-West area. He works on behalf of Diane Lees Entertainments but the majority or Rob's work evolves from repeated bookings from hotels and wedding venues across the North-West area & also from people that have been to a function that Rob has performed at. Rob has performed at a large range of top hotels across the North-West area. He is one of the most popular mobile DJ's for Warrington, Manchester & Liverpool.

Rob has provided his services for a large number of celebrities & VIP guests. He has performed at top functions, for example Liverpool FC Player’s Xmas Party. He was also the DJ for Coronation Street's Candice (Nikki Sanderson) for her 21st Birthday Party, along with providing a top class performance at Coronation Street's Andrew Whyment's (Kirk) 21st Birthday Party, both held at a top Manchester hotel & hosted by 'OK Magazine'.

Prior to every event, rob ensures that the equipment is fully working, and everything gets serviced on a monthly basis. This checks for blown fuses or bulbs. Every piece of equipment is cased in professional Flight Cases. This protects the equipment in transit and storage, to ensure that everything looks immaculate, which is a number one priority. Rob also carries essential back up equipment, however Rob has never in his career had to revert to this.

Rob always wants his shows to look the best. In order to do this, he makes sure that all of the cables are hidden and that they look tidy. Rob has seen many DJ's perform in the past, who have literally put cables across the dance floor, and has even seen guests trip over equipment. Rob likes the show to look as perfect as possible. This is to ensure that the whole setup looks tidy, and also to comply with regulations. Rob holds Public Liability Insurance, along with a full CRB check. Every piece of electrical equipment is PAT tested, and certificates are carried to every function. Rob finds that some people decide to run their own disco at their party, and hire equipment from an audio & visual show. If you wanted to hire equipment like Rob's, you would pay around £30,000. Every song in the database is owned on original CD, and we never use illegally ripped or downloaded music.

Rob Lees Disco prides itself on offering one of the best sound systems available. He has invested a lot of money into the latest from world renowned audio makers Mackie.
The new SRM & SWA offers more than the conventional speaker you will see at many events like weddings and birthday parties.

All music & music videos played are on a high spec laptop computer, and we have original copies of everything we play or project. On our larger show, including the 'Ultimate Club Rig', we use a total of 3 high performance Laptop Computers. These are to control both the Sound & Lighting.
